Academy NewsGive the gift of an academy student's CD for the Holidays this year! The academy

all monthly tuition payments! Choose which day of the month you would like to

DoReeMees are coming January 2007! We have developed a completely fun,
new way to award you over-achievers and extra-crediters! DoReMees are "Music Academy
Currency" that are awarded to students for a wide variety of musical endeavors
above and beyond that which is expected of them. They can be awarded for referring
another family or student to the academy or for attending a classical recital
or concert (we need to have a program as evidence of their attendance) or for
many other good deeds and acheivements at the academy. There will also be an "end-of-year"
announcement in June as to who was awarded the most DoReMees and that person will
receive a special prize. More details will follow. All DoReMee awards must either
be instigated or approved by the Academy's executive director.
The 2nd Annual Holiday Recital was a complete success! The Little Mozarts recital
at 11:00am was fun and consistently above standard for such young and, in some
cases, new students. Some 4 and 5 year olds performed flawlessly and have only
been taking lessons for 10 weeks! Likewise, the older kids, including a stunning group of new singing students impressed the entire audience of approximately 200 parents, students and friends. There was carol singing, presents and diplomas for the students and a painlessly short faculty recital that showcased the expressive talents of Sarah Franklin, soprano, and Michael Adduci, oboe. The day seemed to be over almost as quickly as it had began - a sign that everyone's attention was occupied and focused on the performers. Check back for photos and video from the event - they will be posted on our new "photos and video" page of this website.
The 2006 Holiday Recital is coming Saturday, December 9th! Performances
by students and faculty, Christmas Carol sing along, games, presents, food and
much more! Don't miss this joyous and festive occasion! Little Mozarts Showcase
is 11am with Piano Levels and Voice following at noon. Stick around for food and
fun followed by a Faculty Showcase at 2pm! (Times are subject to change)
The Academy is extremely proud and delighted to announce two new instructors
